The darkness we are going through,
is just a passing dark cloud,
whose tail will soon be lifted
ushering forth light and great strength. |
The stars still sparkle, our freedom reigns
Nothing can diminish our country's fame
United we'll stand against any attack
We'll show the world, America fights back

Thank you so much Kacy!! It's an honor to be
the first recipient of your cute Glory Girl. |
Unfortunately, sad times call for sad measures
Don't ya just wish you could wipe her tear away?

American's experienced one of the greatest tragedies in the history of our country.
4 commercial airplanes were hijacked, and the World Trade Center in New York was
demolished by 2 US Commercial airplanes, the Pentagon was hit by a 3rd plane and the last
plane went down here in Pennsylvania.
Thousands are missing and have lost their lives. Airplane crash victims, people in the
World Trade (Twin Towers) Center, people in the Pentagon, people on the ground in those
places, and lastly, the men and women with the Police Force and Fire Department who risked
their lives trying to save others.
It breaks my heart when I think of the lives lost and the victims families and loved ones
and children of the victims. Please take a moment to remember the fallen. America will not
stand for this. We are a strong country and I am proud to be an American. Please bear with
us while we catch our breath... and watch when the US comes back with a vengeance! God
Bless America!
I'm Proud to be an
American
(God Bless The USA)
Written By Lee Greenwood
If tomorrow all the things were gone I'd worked for all my life, And I had
to start again with just my children and my wife, I'd thank my lucky stars to be living
here today, 'Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can't take that away.
I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free, And I won't forget the men who
died who gave that right to me, And I gladly stand up next to you and defend her still
today, 'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God Bless the U.S.A.
From the lakes of Minnesota to the hills of Tennessee, Across the plains of Texas from sea
to shining sea. From Detroit down to Houston and New York to L.A., There's pride in every
American heart and it's time we stand and say:
I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free, And I won't forget the men who
died who gave that right to me, And I gladly stand up next to you and defend her still
today, 'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God Bless the U.S.A.
To Everything there is a season.
A time for every purpose under Heaven.
A time to be born, and a time to die.
A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted.
A time to kill, And a time to heal.
A time to break down, And a time to build up.
A time to weep, And a time to laugh.
A time to mourn, And a time to dance.
A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing.
A time to gain, And a time to lose.
A time to keep, And a time to throw away.
A time to tear, And a time to sew.
A time to keep silence, And a time to speak.
A time to love, And a time to hate.
A time of war, And a time of peace. |

God Bless America, Land that I love.
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America,
My home sweet home.
Haven Of The Heart
Our Father, who art in heaven hear this little prayer
and reach across the miles today that stretch from here to there
So we may feel much closer to those we are fondest of
And they may know we think of them with sympathy and with love
And help all people everywhere who must often dwell apart
To know that they are together in the haven of the heart
~ Helen Steiner Rice
The eternal God is thy refuge,
and underneath are the everlasting arms...
In His arms there is
Strength to hold you...
Grace to Sustain you...
and Love to carry you through.
America The Beautiful
O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea! |
|
|
O beautiful for pilgrim feet
Whose stern impassioned stress
A thoroughfare for freedom beat
Across the wilderness!
America! America!
God mend thine every flaw,
Confirm thy soul in self-control,
Thy liberty in law! |
O beautiful for heroes proved
In liberating strife.
Who more than self the country loved
And mercy more than life!
America! America!
May God thy gold refine
Till all success be nobleness
And every gain divine! |
|
|
O beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!
O beautiful for halcyon skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the enameled plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till souls wax fair as earth and air
And music-hearted sea! |
O beautiful for pilgrims feet,
Whose stem impassioned stress
A thoroughfare for freedom beat
Across the wilderness!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till paths be wrought through
wilds of thought
By pilgrim foot and knee!
O beautiful for glory-tale
Of liberating strife
When once and twice,
for man's avail
Men lavished precious life!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till selfish gain no longer stain
The banner of the free! |
|
|
O beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till nobler men keep once again
Thy whiter jubilee!
Words by Katharine Lee Bates |
"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes,
and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow,
nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain;
for the former things are all passed away"
